Party Trend: Candy Buffets

A popular trend right now that you can find at wedding receptions, birthday parties, baby showers, corporate events, and all sorts of events is the candy buffet! This is very fun and brings you back to your childhood memories. Nobody can resist candies!

Don't forget to set a budget and theme for your candy buffet. The candies can have the same color-theme with your wedding or if you want to go wild, use colorful candies and use your wedding colors for the accents such as ribbons and table cover to connect it with your theme. You will also need nice clear glass vases or jars that will serve as containers for your candies. Have sugar-free candies available for your diabetic guests too so they won't be going home with soaring sugar levels! You can also have chocolates, cupcakes, cookies, anything! A chocolate fountain or chocolate fondue would bring your candy buffet to the next level.

Upon planning your candy buffet, be creative! Erin of Blue-Eyed bride used sugar to hold their candies in place and to use as fillers. You can also put childhood pictures of you and your groom, perhaps eating your favorite candies, for an added uniqueness in the candy buffet table. You can even accent the table with fun candy accessories such as this mini classic gumball dispenser for an added enjoyment.

Another idea you can do is to put empty favor boxes on your guests' table or on the candy buffet table itself to let the guests help themselves with candies that they can bring home.
