Bride's Survival Kit

With the crazy scheduling and issues that a wedding often involves, a bride should ALWAYS prepare for the unexpected. Therefore, it is very important that every bride have a survival kit, just in case of some emergency or unplanned incident.

What you need for your Emergency Survival Kit:
1. Handkerchief and/or facial tissues - for wiping tears or fixing makeup
2. Travel-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and mints - for fresh breath throughout the wedding day, especially the first kiss! Also good for the photography, to make sure no food is stuck between your teeth.
3. Make-up and mirror - for last minute touch-ups so you will look your absolute best the whole day.
4. Nail polish - to fix runs in your panty hose or to fix scratches on your fingernails or toenails
5. Hairbrush, hairspray and bobby pins - to make sure your hair stays in place, especially in the event of a windy day.
6. Some chocolates - needed to make you feel better during the times when things don't go exactly as planned. Also important for diabetics.
7. Pain-relievers, antacids and other medications the bride needs - use to alleviate butterflies in stomach or other issues that may arise in your body due to the stress of the day...and of course, so you won't "have a headache" during the honeymoon!
8. Safety pins, glue, scissors, tape, sewing kit - to fix tears or imperfections in clothing, accessories or hair.
9. Extra pantyhose - just in case #4 doesn't fix your pantyhose issue.
10. Sanitary napkins and tampons - just in case the stress makes you start early!

Don't forget to put these important items in chic yet functional cosmetic bags. You can also make mini-survival kits for your bridesmaids, so you will all feel fully prepared. This is also a great gift for the bride at the bridal shower.
